Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our retail store. You will assist the Store Manager in various tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management.

Duties:

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues or complaints
• Train and supervise store staff, including conducting performance evaluations
• Assist in creating work schedules and assigning tasks to employees
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager for replenishment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new employees
• Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store displays
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies to increase sales and meet targets

Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail management role is required
• Strong knowledge of retail math, including budgeting, pricing, and payroll management
• Proficient in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees
• Knowledge of market trends and competition in the retail industry
