Aug 24, 2026 Job Description The ELL/Multi-Lingual Learner Department Lead will support the assistant superintendent for Curriculum in overseeing the ELL program for the district. This will include, but is not limited to:

• facilitating monthly PLC meetings with ELL staff district-wide
• oversight of purchasing of materials for ELL staff across the district
• coordinating with the assistant superintendent of curriculum for applicable professional development activities
• support new ELL staff members in collaboration with the mentoring program
• assist with data collection and federal requirements
• assist with the coordination of

WIDA/ACCESS

testing

• assist ELL staff with identification of students and proper management of paperwork
• Coordinate with administration and ELL staff for applicable translations and interpretation for families NOTE - This position is grant funded and appointment is annually, pending available funds.

This stipend position will be paid at the same rate as high school department heads as identified in the NMRSDTA Contract 2024-2027
