An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

ASSISTANT MANAGER

Reports to General Manager

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that each customer is completely satisfied during their visit. Customer satisfaction is your number one priority.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in your unit at all times.
  • Supervise 15-20 restaurant employees per shift.
  • Enforce all brands standards, company policies and procedures.
  • Represent the company, with professionalism at all times. Treat all employees with dignity and respect.
  • Train all levels of staff in proper operations of the unit for POS systems, back of house functions to all levels of front of house operations including Customer Service and all positional duties (as needed and constant).
  • Fill in for different positions in the restaurant as needed
  • May be required to work extra shifts to accommodate store business and or call offs
  • Work closely with store manager to implement training on new systems, techniques, service standards
  • Ability to and enforce company initiatives and policies
  • Meet all store cost and operational goals and budgets
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all hourly associates
  • Ability to cover all shifts during the normal operation of the unit
  • Previous restaurant experience required
    Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.
