What You'll Do As an Assistant Manager, you'll support daily store operations and team performance while helping deliver an excellent customer experience: Lead, coach, and support team members to provide fast, friendly service Assist with day-to-day operations including opening/closing, shift execution, and store readiness Help create schedules aligned with business needs and labor targets Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking Ensure shelves, coolers, and displays are fully stocked and properly merchandised Monitor store cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance Assist with cash handling, POS transactions, and daily reporting Ensure compliance with alcohol, tobacco, lottery, food safety, and fuel regulations Support deli and food service operations as needed, following Freshies® standards Respond to customer concerns and ensure a positive experience Communicate operational needs, issues, and opportunities to leadership Qualifications Strong leadership and team-building skills Retail, food service, or supervisory experience preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable using basic computer systems and handheld technology High school diploma or GED required; additional education a plus Why Join Freshies?
