About Us Based in beautiful Rockport, Maine, we aren't just selling boats and engines; we are building a premier yachting lifestyle brand. Our dealership is an official Suzuki Motor and repower Dealership and a go-to destination for marine enthusiasts, offering full parts stocking and service support for top engine brands including Mercury and Yamaha . We are seeking an energetic, sales-driven, and detail-oriented Marine Parts & Accessories Manager to lead our parts counter, drive engine and accessory sales in our showroom, and actively manage our established e-commerce platform. Role Summary As the Marine Parts & Accessories Manager, you will oversee the heartbeat of our retail, engine sales, and service parts operations. You'll balance strict technical accuracy—managing inventory and executing flawless repair order parts allocations—with active retail salesmanship. Beyond standard parts management, you will act as a brand curator: actively selling Suzuki box motors, AB Inflatables, and watersports gear in our Rockport showroom, managing multi-brand engine parts stocking (Suzuki, Mercury, Yamaha), and optimizing our live online specialty store. Key ResponsibilitiesShowroom Sales & Customer Experience Actively sell Suzuki outboard box motors , AB Inflatables, and high end gear in our Rockport brick-and-mortar location. Lead daily parts checkouts, counter sales, and retail Point-of-Sale (POS) operations. Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm to recommend products, cross-sell, and upsell clients on essential gear, safety equipment, rigging, and premium upgrades. Provide exceptional support to both retail walk-ins and internal service technicians to keep shop workflow moving smoothly. Multi-Brand Parts, Logistics & Inventory Control Manage complete parts inventory stocking, receiving, tagging, and organization. Store cleanliness and organization is essential. Place and track special orders from boat manufacturers, engine suppliers, and marine distributors. Maintain strict inventory control, executing regular physical counts and minimizing audit discrepancies. Ensure absolute accuracy when billing and posting parts, components, and special orders to Repair Orders (ROs) using Lightspeed Dealer Management Software . E-Commerce & Lifestyle Retail Management Actively monitor, adjust, and update our live online store daily, ensuring inventory sync, accurate product listings, and swift order processing. Passionately curate a unique "Yachting Lifestyle Store" experience both in-person and online, featuring specialized accessories unavailable anywhere else to the owner-operator. Visually merchandize the Rockport showroom to create an inviting, high-end marine retail environment.
Qualifications & Skills Sales Drive:
Proven retail sales ability with hands-on experience.
Engine & Parts Familiarity:
Technical knowledge of Suzuki, Mercury, and Yamaha parts, engine components, and vendor catalog systems helpful.
Software & E-Commerce Expertise:
Hands-on experience using Lightspeed DMS (or equivalent) for accurate RO posting and inventory control, alongside daily e-commerce management skills.
Brand Vision:
Genuine excitement for marine lifestyle products, watersports, luxury gear, and owner-operator customization.
Organization:
Meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance walk-in retail sales with digital store maintenance.
