WHY RETAIL SALES AT STELLANTIS
Be on the front line of the business. The Area Sales Manager supports a group of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and/or FIAT dealerships and serves as a key liaison between dealership leadership and Stellantis. This role combines relationship management, sales analysis, market planning, vehicle ordering, and retail execution. Build productive relationships with dealership owners, general managers, and sales leaders. Use sales, inventory, and market information to identify opportunities and recommend action. Support dealer business planning and retail execution within an assigned market. Connect dealer needs with Stellantis resources, programs, and cross-functional partners. Develop the influence, judgment, and accountability required for future commercial leadership roles.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage business relationships with assigned dealerships and maintain a consistent presence in the market. Forecast retail sales objectives by vehicle line and assess progress against business goals. Support vehicle ordering, allocation, and monthly scheduling decisions based on market demand and inventory needs. Review dealer and market performance, identify gaps, and recommend actions to improve sales effectiveness. Partner with dealership leadership on sales opportunities, customer experience, and business priorities. Collaborate with internal Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Product, and Field Operations teams. Prepare and present performance updates, business recommendations, and market insights. Travel frequently, including overnight travel, to support assigned dealerships and market activities.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
Direct dealer-facing responsibility and territory management experience. Hands-on ownership of sales, inventory, and market performance priorities. Development in consultative selling, negotiation, influence, and relationship management. Cross-functional exposure across the commercial organization.
