Supervisor - Arnie's About Shanty Creek Resort Shanty Creek Resort is committed to providing our guests with a unique "Up North" experience. We believe that building honest, long-lasting relationships with our guests, employees, neighbors, and the surrounding environment is key to growing our business. About the Role The Supervisor - Arnie's plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of Arnie's while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position is responsible for overseeing staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices. Arnie's will be managed by two Supervisors who will work together to oversee operations, support staff, and ensure consistent service and performance across all shifts. The Supervisor will lead, train, and support team members, foster a positive and productive work environment, and respond to guest needs in a timely and professional manner. This role also works closely with other departments to enhance overall service delivery and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and ensure team members perform their duties effectively Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to improve performance and service quality Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally Collaborate with other departments to coordinate services and events Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field Experience with budgeting and financial management Knowledge of local tourism attractions and services Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent verbal and written communication Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Financial awareness and cost management (preferred) Knowledge of local attractions to enhance guest experiences (preferred) Work Environment This role operates in a fast-paced hospitality environment and may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.Similar remote jobs
