A Retail Associate Manager assists the manager at a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.

Job Description

Copper Country Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications from dependable, highly energetic people with GREAT organizational skills for a full time Assistant Store Manager position. You will be responsible for handling the day to day operations (ie. opening, closing, making bank deposits, directing employees and volunteers, etc) at one of our ReStore locations. This is a VERY hands on position requiring you being able to lift 50 lbs with ease on a normal basis. You will team lift heavier items and move furniture, appliances, and other heavy items in and out of the building on a daily basis. You will be standing on your feet and moving around for your entire shift. Basic knowledge in the fields of building, electrical, & plumbing will come in handy. Previous retail management experience is helpful, but not a necessity. Great people skills are a must! Candidate must have a valid Drivers License and dependable transportation. This is a fun and challenging job working for a local charity that helps out the community that we live in. A normal work week with us is Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sunday & Monday each week so those would be your days off.
