Oversee inventory management processes such as stock ordering, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales processing, payroll management, and transaction accuracy. Implement operational procedures related to inventory control to ensure compliance and efficiency. Support shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising cashiering activities, and ensuring smooth customer flow. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively. Assist in managing budgets and sales targets while analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities. Skills Proven experience in retail store management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for inventory management, merchandising, and operational details. Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, and basic math skills for financial transactions. Effective negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations and resolving customer or vendor concerns. Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, recruiting practices, and payroll administration. Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management metrics, and budgeting techniques. Exceptional communication skills paired with phone etiquette to interact professionally with customers and team members alike. Demonstrated ability in managing shifts efficiently while balancing operational needs with customer satisfaction goals.
