This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who loves working with people, enjoys sales and marketing, and is comfortable being active throughout their shift. This is not a desk job—you will be present on the sales floor, helping customers, supporting your team, keeping the store organized, and representing Rebekah's in the community. This position averages approximately 25 hours per week . Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays is required , with occasional weekend availability. Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS-system management. Provide exceptional customer service and help customers feel welcomed, heard, and supported. Confidently discuss our vitamins, supplements, wellness products, and natural-living options using product knowledge and professional judgment. Lead, encourage, and support a small front-of-house team of two employees. Create shift schedules, assign daily tasks, and ensure store standards are consistently maintained. Implement effective sales strategies through product knowledge, thoughtful upselling, and promotional activities. Help the team meet sales goals through excellent service, product recommendations, and a positive sales-floor presence. Partner with the purchaser to monitor stock levels, conduct inventory counts, coordinate purchasing needs, and support merchandising efforts to keep high-demand products available. Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and visually inviting throughout the day. Answer phone calls professionally and assist customers with questions, product requests, and store information. Attend biweekly Chamber of Commerce events and represent Rebekah's professionally within the community. Attend company educational trainings, meetings, and special events. Assist with promotional displays, social-media ideas, customer events, and in-store marketing as needed. Handle customer questions or concerns with kindness, professionalism, and follow-through. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales management, team leadership, or a supervisory role within the retail industry. Previous sales and marketing experience. A genuine love of working with people and building relationships. Interest in health, wellness, vitamins, supplements, and natural products is strongly preferred. Strong product knowledge and the ability to use sales and upselling techniques naturally and professionally. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory-management software, cash-handling procedures, and basic retail math. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills that encourage teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence. Professional phone etiquette and a strong eye for stock levels, merchandising, and store presentation. Dependable, punctual, positive, and willing to learn. Able to stand and move throughout the store for the duration of the shift. Comfortable attending community events and representing Rebekah's in a professional, welcoming way.
