Lake Superior State University (Dining) The Role at a glance: We are looking to add an experienced, motivated Retail & Concessions Manager to our Collegiate Dining team in Sault Sainte Marie, MI. As a Retail Manager, you will have the opportunity to assist with overseeing all culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations functions for the account. What you'll be doing: Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including cashiers, baristas, cooks, food service, concessions and catering workers. Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service. Ensuring that the business runs in a professional, efficient, and profitable manner. Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees. What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years' experience in a supervisory role. At least two years' foodservice experience. Previous experience with industial cooking process Proven track record of financial responsibility. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills.
Nice-to-haves:
ServSafe Manager certification. Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree. Where you'll be working: Lake Superior State University Compensation Range Up to $60,000 based on experience
