Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, providing comprehensive training and development to foster growth. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Oversee cash handling, cashiering procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks with accuracy and integrity. Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost store visibility and sales performance. Maintain exceptional customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently. Supervise shift management, employee orientation, and team scheduling to ensure optimal coverage at all times. Utilize POS systems proficiently for transactions and inventory tracking while ensuring compliance with phone etiquette and organizational protocols. Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, clear communication skills, and recognition of employee achievements. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development, and leadership. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, retail math, and sales management. Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, payroll processing, and budgeting tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Effective communication skills coupled with phone etiquette experience for engaging with customers and team members alike. Prior experience as an assistant manager or in supervisory roles within retail sales is preferred. Knowledge of wireless sales or marketing is a plus but not required; a strong background in retail management is essential.
