The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing a team, ensuring efficient store operations, and driving sales performance while maintaining high standards of merchandising and inventory management. Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service. Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training of new employees. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising products. Conduct interviews and participate in the recruitment process to build a strong team. Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records. Implement effective marketing strategies to promote store initiatives and increase sales. Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions and cash handling procedures. Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while ensuring a safe shopping environment. Analyze retail math to manage budgets, pricing strategies, and sales performance metrics. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and merchandising. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred for effective communication with diverse customers. Proficient in cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. Solid understanding of customer service principles and retail sales strategies. Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on training & development of team members. Familiarity with Liquor store operations is advantageous.
