Assistant Manager in Training - Kansas City

Job Description DAV/Red Racks, locally owned and operated by Disabled American Veterans, is looking for individuals interested in advancing their retail management career in the Kansas City MO. area. Selected Assistant Managers In Training will receive specific training and development to prepare them for Store Assistant Manager opportunities in the company. Qualified Assistant Manager in Training candidates have a minimum of two years experience in retail. Previous experience in supervision and training are strongly preferred. Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills are a must. The Assistant Manager in Training will learn every position in the store and be able to train new employees on each position. With this position you will be "hands on", working with your employees to make sure the store is successful. This is a fast paced position and you are on your feet most of the day. You must be able to bend, squat and lift heavy items. You must be willing to work at any of our KC Metro locations. After a 90 day training period you will advance to become an Assistant Manager at a higher wage. You must be able to pass a background check and have a valid drivers license and auto insurance.
