+ Oak is looking for an Assistant Manager (AM) to join our front-of-house leadership team. This is a hands-on management role for someone who loves restaurants, genuinely enjoys leading people, and knows that great hospitality starts with a strong, supported team. Our AM is highly visible on the floor, engaged with guests and employees, and actively involved in making each service run smoothly. Olive

What You'll Do Lead the floor during service, anticipating needs and helping the team stay organized, focused, and supported Create an exceptional guest experience through proactive hospitality and thoughtful problem-solving Support, coach, and develop FOH employees while helping maintain a positive and professional workplace Lead engaging pre-shift meetings that prepare the team for successful service Participate in scheduling, staffing decisions, and day-to-day restaurant operations Help train and onboard new FOH employees and reinforce service standards Maintain consistency in service, restaurant procedures, cleanliness, and operational expectations Partner closely with the General Manager, Proprietor, and other members of the leadership team Support responsible alcohol service, food safety, workplace safety, and other compliance standards Develop strong knowledge of our food, wine, and beverage programs and help build that knowledge throughout the FOH team Step in where needed. This is a restaurant leadership role, not an office-only management position. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a leader who is: Present, approachable, and comfortable leading from the floor Calm and solutions-oriented during busy services Reliable, organized, and accountable Confident giving clear direction and constructive feedback Interested in developing employees, not simply managing shifts Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Comfortable working collaboratively with chefs, managers, servers, bartenders, support staff, and ownership Interested in continuing to grow their knowledge of wine, food, and restaurant operations Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Fine-dining or elevated full-service experience and wine knowledge are valuable, but curiosity, leadership ability, and a willingness to learn matter just as much. Why Olive
