DC Assistant Supervisor - City Counter O'Reilly Automotive Stores - 3.3 Horn Lake, MS Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Retail customer service procedures Computer operation Customer communication Staff supervision Team leadership High school diploma or GED Computer skills Full Job Description Communicate with all stores and departments within the DC to maintain efficiency and a high level of customer service. Supervise the city counter staff and delegate the workload accordingly. Assist with all aspects of the job fulfill these duties in the absence of the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist the City Counter Supervisor with all job duties: Ensure all orders through the city counter are picked and delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time. Communicate with the department trainer to ensure that new team members are properly trained. Responsible for warehouse security on Saturdays and scheduled holidays. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized appearance of the city counter. Maintain effective communication between the city counter staff, store, DC, and office personnel. Research and solve any customer questions, problems, and complaints. Responsible for scheduling workload, team member work schedules, and vacations. Responsible for team member evaluations being written and delivered in a timely manner. Ensure that a high degree of safety is maintained among counter staff and route drivers. Review overage/shortage and productivity reports to set and maintain company standards. Responsible for the maintenance, performance, and appearance of city counter delivery fleet and maintaining records of such for each vehicle. Coordinate the efforts of all city counter staff to maximize efficiency. Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations. All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Basic computer skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to stay organized and lead a team of individuals Customer service oriented and able to work will in a team environment Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
Desired:
Previous experience in an O'Reilly store and distribution center Completion of the O'Reilly management training program Advanced computer skills Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired) O'Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
