Job Description

Position Summary:
Atlas-SSI, Inc. is seeking a Bucket Fab Shop Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day operations of our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for growth and a drive to succeed. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager. The Bucket Shop Supervisor will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish including assembly and factory acceptance checklists and inspections. This position will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with other departmental supervisors, engineers, and team members. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, must have a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is willing to learn and adapt as we continue to grow.
Description:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of 6 to 10 Fitters and Welders Adhere to the schedule to meet the customer required ship dates. Coordinate and manage projects in cooperation with other departments Verify all material is ready and staged in the shop before the project begins Promote the success of the company's continuous improvement culture Provide oversight and guidance that drives rapid achievement in the Company's Lean goals Work closely with the Pant Manager, Supply Chain and Sales Dept. to ensure production schedules are attainable
Requirements:
Must have ability to read drawings/prints Welding knowledge/background preferred Strong track record as a leader, including team leadership and people development Drive accountability and behaviors across the department Help employees understand the connection between their day-to-day duties and the company's mission and vision Have a vision that can facilitate growth and expansion Must be an energetic, action-oriented, hands-on individual Must see change as an opportunity, not an obstacle Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office software
