Store Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience in our tobacco store environment, ensuring that each customer leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Perform merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves and ensuring product displays are appealing and well-organized. Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and encourage sales. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment. Assist in training new staff members, providing guidance on customer service best practices and store procedures. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience with cashiering duties and familiarity with retail math concepts. Ability to perform product demos and engage customers effectively in conversation about products.
