Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit Student & Family Programs ( NSFP) is responsible for transitioning over 4,200 first-year students and over 800 transfer students into the UNC community, as well as establishing and maintaining a relationship with over 20,000 families of Carolina undergraduates. NSFP provides new undergraduate students and families with programs and services aimed at supporting their transition to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with the goal of supporting retention and success in the higher education environment. Position Summary Support Orientation student staff supervision and shift scheduling as well as facilitate numerous logistics for each session being worked. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Management Preferences Prior experience in OLC role. Special Physical/Mental Requirements Campus Security Authority Responsibilities This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
