Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Afternoon Closer to join our vibrant childcare team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth closing of our preschool during the afternoon hours. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with young children, support their development, and foster a nurturing environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for children, parents, and staff alike. This paid position is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing exceptional care. Responsibilities Supervise children during the closing hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with child supervision, including diapering, feeding, and engaging in age-appropriate activities Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a calm and organized environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day Complete end-of-day cleaning routines, including sanitizing toys and classroom areas Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid preferred Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle classroom management with patience and professionalism Familiarity with child supervision best practices Childcare experience including nannying or babysitting roles is highly valued Interested candidates may reply to this add with resume.
