A Retail Store Supervisor supervises daily operations at a retail store. Hires and trains retail sales staff and creates staff work schedules. Assists customers and deals with customer complaints. Manages store inventory and supplies. May set store sales goals and strategies and manage store promotions.
The Tooling Supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination and control of the tooling processes and the associates who perform them. The Supervisor oversees the building of new fiberglass tooling masters, production tooling and for implementing changes to existing tooling. The Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of such molds. The Supervisor utilizes Lean Sigma tools and techniques to advance safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversees the use accepted methods to build new masters, mockups, molds, and specialized splashes. Oversees the reshaping and altering of the dimensions of existing tooling masters and molds. This may require the use of precise measuring equipment such as laser aligners and bubble levels. Oversees the inspection of molds for areas that need maintenance or repair. Directs the use of proper methods to complete work such as grinding, sanding, glassing, spraying, resurfacing, reshaping, or reinforcing. Directs the washing and waxing of molds to make them ready for production.

Minimum Degree Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1 year of lamination experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Experience using Lean Sigma to accomplish business goals and objectives. Good Leadership/Supervisory skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively speak before groups of associates and other managers in the organization. Computer literate (use of email, spreadsheets, database, charting)
