Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Feed Mill and Store Manager to lead our feed production and retail operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily feed mill activities, managing inventory, ensuring animal nutrition quality, and supervising store staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for animal husbandry. Your energetic approach will drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced agricultural environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily feed mill operations, including mixing, batching, and quality control of animal feed products Manage store inventory, ensuring stock levels meet operational demands and customer needs Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs,, heavy equipment, and mill inspections Lead a team of staff by providing training in equipment operation, safety procedures, and product knowledge Ensure profit margin and store profitibility Maintain accurate records of feed production, inventory levels, maintenance logs, and safety inspections Support animal husbandry practices by ensuring proper care protocols are followed for livestock and equine animals Skills Proven supervising experience in agricultural or farm-related settings Mechanical knowledge related to, equipment repair, welding, and maintenance Strong understanding of product knowledge, animal care, and handling techniques Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, , power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently Growing experience in cattle or livestock enhances your ability to oversee feed related activities Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping Knowledge of business management and feed and livestock Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks over extended periods Join us as a Feed Mill/Store Manager to lead with energy, precision, and passion for agriculture.
