As a Manager on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include: Ensuring all employees and team members strictly adhere to Portland Glass safety standards and conducting regular safety meetings/ regularly inspecting PPE Overseeing that correct procedures are used to ensure safe installations, meeting the designated architectural specifications for glass installation Managing the retail store to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and resolving customer escalations in a professional and timely manner Reading, understanding and analyzing monthly financial statements and making improvements as needed Proactively coaching and developing team members to ensure success in their respective roles and identifying opportunities for recognition and development Purchasing inventory and products to sufficiently service customers to ensure efficiency while keeping in line with the budget Bring your skills and achieve success. (Required qualifications) Prior experience in business management required, prior glass experience/related skilled trades experience preferred! Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computer programs Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to understand and analyze budget, financial statements, inventory, and related retail business procedures/reports Ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws
Education:
High school diploma/GED is required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 75 pounds Bring your work ethic and gain stability.
