Full-time | OnsiteJob SummarySeeking an experienced Tank Department Supervisor to oversee tank department operations supporting drydock and ship repair activities across graving dock, mobile boat hauler, wet berth, and pier operations. Responsible for daily workforce coordination, vessel tank cleaning, equipment, materials, documentation, and safe and efficient work execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelegate daily tasks to department personnel supporting drydock and ship repair projects, prioritizing efficiency.

Review work specifications, develop execution plans, and document completed work through written condition reports for customer representatives.

Order consumables and materials required to complete assigned work.

Coordinate with Project Managers and other trade supervisors for efficient vessel tank and general cleaning.

Physically supervise ongoing work and provide direction to personnel as needed.

Maintain and manage inventory and maintenance programs for tank equipment, including pumps, hoses, pressure washers, and fittings.

Order equipment spares when required.

Submit daily manpower reports detailing work performed and hours expended.

Qualifications3+ years of Tank Department Supervisor experience.3+ years of Vessel Competent Person experience.1+ year of shipyard tank-cleaning experience preferred.

Vessel Competent Person experience preferred.

Certificate in work-site OSHA training preferred.

Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and documentation skills.

Ability to work effectively in a shipyard and physically supervise field operations.
