An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Our goal is to create a unique shopping experience providing excellent personal customers service with a large variety of quality products. We are looking for an Assistant Manager to work in the camping /paddlesports department in our Ramsey location. We would like to hire an energetic, hard-working, friendly individual. Retail experience is a must.

Responsibilities:

Deliver a high level of customer service
Processing and stocking inventory
Keeping the sales floor clean and orderly
Employee Scheduling within the camping/paddlesports departments
Opening and Closing the store
Knowledge of camping and paddlesports equipment and a passion for camping and paddlesports

Job Requirements:

Demonstrate strong Interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible schedule, able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Utilization of computer system
Retail experience is required Benefits for
