General Manager -
Cannabis Retail Dispensary Location:
West New York, NJ Salary:
$80K-$110K Base + Performance Incentives Full-Time | Onsite A growing cannabis dispensary is seeking a General Manager to lead daily retail operations, develop staff, oversee inventory and compliance, and help build a scalable, professional retail environment. This role is ideal for an experienced retail leader coming from grocery, pharmacy, specialty retail, hospitality, convenience store, or regulated retail environments who enjoys building teams, creating accountability, and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities- Lead all dispensary operations and staff performance
- Oversee inventory controls and product accountability
- Drive sales, customer satisfaction, and store profitability
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor planning
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company SOPs
- Coach and develop supervisors and team members
- Handle escalated customer and employee concerns
- Monitor KPIs, reporting, cash management, and operational metrics
- Partner with ownership on growth initiatives and process improvements Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail management experience
- Strong inventory management background
- Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable with compliance-driven operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
