Position Summary The Store Manager is responsible for leading daily store operations, supporting sales performance, maintaining compliance standards, supervising team members, managing scheduling and labor needs, supporting training and accountability, protecting cash and inventory controls, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional retail environment. This is a leadership role. Store Managers are expected to set the standard for professionalism, reliability, customer service, compliance, communication, and operational execution. Store Managers may participate in interviews and hiring discussions, but recruiting and hiring processes are managed by the Company's recruitment and HR teams. Store Managers may recommend corrective action or termination, but termination decisions require HR review and Company approval. Store Managers are primarily assigned to one location, but may be reassigned or asked to support other Company-designated New Mexico locations based on business needs. Key ResponsibilitiesStore Leadership and Daily Operations Lead daily store operations and ensure the store is ready for business. Supervise assigned team members during scheduled shifts. Support opening, closing, staffing, customer service, compliance, cash handling, inventory, and store cleanliness. Set expectations for professionalism, communication, customer service, policy compliance, and operational standards. Monitor store performance and communicate operational needs, risks, and concerns to leadership. Maintain a respectful, organized, and accountable work environment. Sales Performance and Customer Service Support sales goals, customer service standards, and store performance expectations. Ensure customers receive professional, knowledgeable, and compliant service. Address customer concerns professionally and escalate when appropriate. Coach team members on customer service, product knowledge, professionalism, and sales execution. Maintain a customer-focused store environment while ensuring compliance requirements are followed. Compliance and Policy Enforcement Follow and help enforce Company policies, procedures, and applicable cannabis regulations. Ensure team members follow required ID verification, purchase-limit, product-handling, cash-handling, inventory, and compliance procedures. Identify, document, and escalate compliance concerns, policy violations, safety issues, inventory discrepancies, or operational risks. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer, employee, and Company information. Support required training and reinforce compliance expectations with team members. Team Management, Scheduling, and Accountability Prepare, adjust, and manage employee schedules based on business needs, staffing levels, customer demand, and operational requirements. Monitor attendance, punctuality, performance, conduct, and policy compliance. Provide coaching, feedback, training, and follow-up to team members. Document performance, conduct, attendance, and operational concerns as required. Recommend corrective action or termination when appropriate, subject to HR review and Company approval. Support employee development while maintaining clear standards and accountability. Cash Handling, Inventory, and Loss Prevention Support accurate cash handling, point-of-sale procedures, deposits, reconciliations, and cash controls. Support inventory counts, product movement, stocking, organization, and loss-prevention procedures. Identify and report cash discrepancies, inventory discrepancies, product concerns, compliance issues, or suspected policy violations. Maintain accurate records and support audits, reviews, and operational reporting as assigned. Store Cleanliness, Safety, and Professional Standards Ensure the store is clean, organized, safe, and professional. Support daily cleaning, stocking, merchandising, and store upkeep. Report maintenance, safety, security, or operational concerns promptly. Ensure team members follow workplace safety and cleanliness expectations. Maintain a professional presence with customers, employees, vendors, and leadership. Availability and Scheduling Oasis Cannabis Co. operates seven days per week. Store Managers must maintain availability sufficient to meet business needs, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, opening shifts, closing shifts, extended shifts, meetings, trainings, and emergency coverage when needed. Open availability is generally expected for this role unless availability restrictions are disclosed in writing and approved by the Company. No specific schedule, shift pattern, work location, or number of hours is guaranteed. Store Managers are primarily assigned to one location but may be reassigned or asked to support other Company-designated New Mexico locations based on business needs. QualificationsRequired Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to obtain and maintain any required food handler credential. Prior retail management, store management, assistant management, supervisor, or comparable leadership experience. Ability to supervise employees, set expectations, coach performance, and hold team members accountable. Ability to follow and enforce detailed policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Ability to manage scheduling, staffing needs, customer service, inventory, cash handling, and store operations. Strong communication, judgment, professionalism, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work weekends, holidays, opening shifts, closing shifts, extended shifts, and varying schedules based on business needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated retail environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Cannabis retail or other regulated-industry experience. Prior experience managing retail sales performance, labor, inventory, cash controls, and customer service standards. Experience coaching, documenting, and escalating employee performance or conduct issues. Experience with point-of-sale systems, scheduling systems, inventory systems, and operational reporting. Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, loss prevention, or inventory controls. Physical and Work Requirements This position may require: Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, reaching, lifting, stocking, organizing, and moving products or supplies. Lifting up to 25 pounds as needed. Using a point-of-sale system, computer, scheduling system, inventory system, and other workplace technology. Working in a retail environment with customer traffic, changing priorities, operational demands, and time-sensitive issues. Responding to staffing, customer service, compliance, safety, inventory, and operational concerns as needed. The Company complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding reasonable accommodation. Compensation and Benefits $2,320 biweekly. This position is classified as exempt. This position is not tip eligible. Store Managers may be eligible for applicable bonus opportunities under Company policy. Bonuses, contests, incentives, or other additional compensation are not guaranteed and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
