Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager role in Oneonta, NY. This position offers an important role in overseeing pharmacy operations to ensure top-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Both interim and permanent positions are available, with a schedule structured to support work-life balance.

PM Closed Sundays Key Responsibilities:
Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Ensure the pharmacy complies with all federal, state, board regulations, and company policies. Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial objectives. Lead pharmacy support staff, oversee performance, provide training, and enforce regulatory and company standards. Engage in business development activities within the store and local community. Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, interactions, side effects, and monitor therapy outcomes. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Complete ongoing continuing education as required by state law.
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist in New York State. Immunization certification with comfort in administering all vaccines (required). Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
