Department Manager -
Fine Gifts Overview:

From its humble beginnings in Glen Cove in 1926 to becoming a beacon of luxury and throughout 4 generations, London Jewelers has consistently pushed the boundaries of service excellence and expertise, being recognized as a premier destination, and an authorized retailer of internationally renowned brands. We are seeking a Department Manager - Fine Gifts in our London Jewelers, Watch Salon at the Americana Manhasset.
Responsibilities:
Build organic, loyal and long-lasting relationships with customers through clienteling Lead and develop sales staff to meet and exceed personal and store sales goals. Supervises and manages all aspects of daily store operations, including set-up and take-down, scheduling work shifts, monitoring inventory and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Acts as motivating mentor for employees and provides discipline and training when appropriate. Ensures excellent visual displays and maximizes merchandising of giftware throughout store Help to plan and organize special store events and promotions. Competitor market awareness of the surrounding area.
Qualifications/Experience:
Previous store or department management experience in luxury environment Proficient in solving customer service issues quickly and adept with addressing special customer requests. Prior experience mentoring and leading a specialized retail team. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Comfortable with inventory technology programs and POS systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fine gifts and/or giftware experience Experience with clienteling

Full-time Salary:
$75,000 - $85,000
