Manage vein direction, bookmatching, seam placement, slab utilization, and material yield. Establish and enforce quality-control standards. Reduce re-cuts, breakage, material waste, production errors, and unnecessary downtime. Improve shop throughput, organization, workflow, and equipment utilization. Train, develop, and hold production employees accountable for quality, productivity, attendance, and safety. Experience improving production efficiency and reducing waste is highly desirable. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable. Who We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who simply maintains a shop. We are looking for someone who makes the operation better. The right candidate can walk onto a fabrication floor and quickly understand what is moving, what is behind, where waste is occurring, where the bottleneck is, and what needs to happen next. You understand stone, machinery, people, and production. You know that preventing one bad cut on a premium slab can be more valuable than producing several jobs quickly. You balance speed with craftsmanship, hold people accountable, solve problems, and take ownership of results. When something goes wrong, you don't simply report the problem•you determine how to prevent it from happening again. How We Measure Success On-time production and installations Increased shop throughput Fewer re-cuts and fabrication errors Reduced breakage and material waste Better slab and equipment utilization Less production downtime Consistent quality control Stronger employee accountability Better coordination between production and installation Consistently exceptional finished work
