Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An established retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to supervise operations at its location in Oneonta, NY. This contract role offers the flexibility of interim or permanent placement and is ideal for candidates with strong leadership skills committed to patient care and regulatory compliance.

Closed Key Responsibilities:
Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Ensure pharmacy remains compliant with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Oversee all pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, staffing, and inventory management. Lead business development efforts both in-store and within the community. Manage pharmacy team performance, training, and regulatory adherence. Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Provide patient and provider counseling on medication use, interactions, side effects, and treatment monitoring. Maintain pharmacy quality assurance and patient safety programs. Adhere to company sanitation and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
Valid New York pharmacist license required. Immunization certification and comfortable administering all vaccines. Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred. Strong leadership with ability to train and oversee pharmacy staff.
