Job Description
ResponsibilitiesLead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
Open and close the dispensary following company procedures.
Serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of management.
Coach and develop dispensary associates through real-time feedback.
Drive sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, and upselling.
Assist with daily cash handling and register reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and New York cannabis regulations.
Assist with inventory counts, product restocking, and merchandising.
Monitor store appearance and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Support onboarding and training of new team members.
Communicate operational updates and sales goals to the team.
Assist management with achieving daily sales and performance metrics.
RequirementsRequired QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of retail leadership or supervisory experience .Cannabis dispensary experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a Key Holder, Shift Lead, or Assistant Manager.
Experience using Dutchie POS or other cannabis retail systems.
Strong cash-handling and inventory management skills.
