Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead a talented team, and drive sales growth. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming shopping environment, managing inventory, and ensuring operational excellence. Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to foster a high-performing team. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Implement effective sales strategies, monitor sales performance, and motivate staff to achieve targets. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Utilize POS systems for transactions, oversee cashiering activities, and ensure accurate cash handling and bookkeeping. Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management. Experience with POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures. Ability to lead training & development programs for staff members at all levels. Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stock management, and store presentation standards. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, budgeting, and marketing initiatives. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
