In this energetic role, you will oversee daily shop operations, coordinate repairs and diagnostics, and ensure the team meets high standards of quality and efficiency. We own a towing company as well, and some help on the back end would be great ( invoicing, delegating, busy work for the team) Responsibilities Manage daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and ensuring timely vehicle turnaround Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians and service advisors to deliver top-tier automotive repairs and maintenance Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, and collision repairs with precision and attention to detail Utilize estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to prepare accurate repair estimates and service writing Drive sales by identifying upselling opportunities such as additional services or maintenance packages while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers Ensure excellent client communication by explaining repair needs clearly and managing expectations effectively Maintain compliance with safety standards, shop cleanliness, inventory control, and cash handling procedures Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair or auto service management with a strong mechanical background Hands-on mechanic experience with expertise in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques Familiarity with estimating software, service writing, collision repair processes, and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Demonstrated ability to upsell services ethically while providing outstanding customer service Knowledge of dealership operations or experience working in a dealership environment is highly desirable Strong understanding of automotive systems including oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire services, brakes, shocks & struts Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team leadership Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant team in a thriving automotive environment.
