Job seekers with a background as a Retail Sales Associate (2+yrs experience), Assistant Retail Store Manager, Retail Shift Leader, and Retail Key Carriers would do well in these roles. Discount Drug Mart is a second generation family owned and operated company located only in Ohio. Discount Drug Mart is a retail chain that offers the convenience of a pharmacy at every location. We pride ourselves in developing relationships with our community and providing them the very best care and service. We currently operate 79 store locations across Ohio with growth planned yearly. Duties:

• Assist in daily operations and management of the store
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
• Supervise and train store staff to ensure efficient and effective performance
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
• Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and inventory management

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of stock management principles and practices
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Familiarity with the local market trends and customer preferences
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory calculations
