Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the STF Coordinator to organize and promote environmentally-focused projects, while determining whether the projects scope falls within the DoES (Department Manager) or at the University at-large (STF Coordinator)Supervise, plan, prioritize, and evaluate the work of DoES student employeesCorrespond with the DoES Student Board with the expectation that they organize six on-campus student engagement events or activities annuallyAssist faculty members in various tasks, such as sending emails, creating advertisements, reviewing faculty hiring materials, cleaning offices, etc.

Expand and maintain the Ohio Wesleyan University Environment & Sustainability LinkedIn GroupGenerate a department newsletter per semester to attract prospective students, communicate with current students, and share with alumniWorking with STEM Career Catalyst to communicate job and internship opportunitiesManage and modernize the Environmental Welcome Center, a designated space for both student employees and prospective environmental students to complete academic and professional workHelp manage departmental environmental projects (e.g., battery recycling, composting, etc.)
Requirements:

Qualifications:
Must be a current student, preferably enrolled in the Psychology program.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Previous office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
