Position Summary The Legacy Country Corner Assistant Manager supports the daily direction and coordination of the Country Corner division to help grow market share, improve operational efficiency, and achieve the cooperative's mission and goals—resulting in outstanding customer service and a positive store environment. What You'll Do Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans to position Legacy Farmers as the preferred provider for lawn, pet, ornamental, and feed products. Help ensure department facilities and equipment comply with all federal, state, and OSHA regulations. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Support the manager in purchasing quality resale products, managing costs for competitive pricing, and aligning with the cooperative's financial goals. Meet daily with the Country Corner Manager to review priorities, assign duties, and accomplish department goals. Conduct employee performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback. Supervise Country Corner associates to ensure excellent customer service and a clean, welcoming store environment. Assist in creating and maintaining an effective onboarding and training process for new employees. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent with additional business background preferred. Working knowledge of the agricultural or retail lawn and pet industry to assist customers effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle customer calls, inquiries, and orders in a timely, courteous manner. Commitment to upholding all Cooperative policies, including the Cooperative Credit Policy. Basic computer proficiency. Schedule Typical retail schedule is 5-6 days per week, Monday through Saturday , based on workload and business needs.

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
