Store Manager - Retail

Duties Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and merchandising. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development to ensure high performance. Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing to maintain smooth staffing levels. Oversee inventory management tasks such as purchasing, stock replenishment, stock rotation, and shrinkage control. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to boost store revenue and meet targets. Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with company policies at all times. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery stores with supervising responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with diverse customer bases. Experience with POS systems, bookkeeping, cash handling, and retail math is essential. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks. Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing techniques, and inventory control. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment.
