Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Home Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of a 3-person group home setting. This vital role involves managing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience, and a passion for enhancing residents' quality of life. As a Home Supervisor, you will play a key role in fostering a compassionate community for individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Supervise and support direct care staff during assigned shifts. Coordinate daily activities of staff members, including caregiving, medication administration, and activity planning Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals. Oversee medication management to ensure safety and adherence to prescribed protocols Oversee daily routines, including meals, monitoring of financial activities,.medication administration, and social activities. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations. Communicate effectively with families, medical professionals, and team members. Respond to emergencies and provide leadership in a crisis situation. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of continuous employment in the developmental disabilities or group home field. (required) Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and lead a team effectively. Must pass a criminal background check and meet state requirements. Valid Ohio Driver's License. (less than 6 points on driving record). Must have reliable transportation. Personal auto insurance HS Diploma/Equivalent Familiarity with medication administration procedures and safety protocols Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate.
