Our store is a community-focused cannabis dispensary dedicated to making cannabis products affordable and accessible for everyone. Our mission is to provide reliable, budget-friendly options without compromising safety or compliance. Whether you're a seasoned consumer or new to cannabis, we aim to make your experience simple, welcoming, and cost-effective. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, compliance, and sales performance. This role requires a strong leader who can balance business operations with regulatory requirements and foster a team-oriented, customer-first culture. Key Responsibilities Store Operations Oversee the daily operations of the dispensary, including opening, closing, and maintaining the store's appearance. Ensure efficient and compliant sales transactions. Maintain a secure and organized environment for both staff and customers. Monitor and optimize store performance metrics (sales, profit margins, customer satisfaction). Staff Management Hire, train, schedule, and supervise budtenders and other dispensary staff. Provide ongoing training on product knowledge, compliance protocols, and customer service. Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings. Foster a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. Inventory & Product Management Oversee all inventory procedures, including receiving, stocking, and tracking. Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies. Collaborate with the Inventory Team and District Manager to manage product availability and product refills. Maintain proper storage, labeling, and handling procedures for all cannabis products. Compliance & Sales Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals. Ensure all team members deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge. Oversee the in-store customer journey, ensuring a consistent and compliant sales experience. Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Encourage upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value. Train budtenders and sales associates on sales techniques, product knowledge, and compliance. Conduct performance reviews with an emphasis on sales performance and growth opportunities. Motivate the team with incentives, recognition, and goal-based programs. Ensure top-selling and promotional items are prominently displayed. Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages of high-demand products. Collaborate with District Sales Manager to align product availability with sales demand. Ensure all sales transactions are compliant with state and local cannabis regulations. Verify accurate data entry in POS and seed-to-sale tracking systems. Prepare and review daily sales reconciliations and reports for accuracy. Customer Experience Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and knowledge sharing. Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally. Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback. 3+ years of retail or dispensary management experience (cannabis industry strongly preferred). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of cannabis products, laws, and regulations (training provided if needed). Experience with POS systems and inventory software (e.g., METRC, BioTrack, Dutchie, etc.). Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Must be 21+ and able to pass a background check per regulatory requirements.
