Newcastle Casino Position Summary:

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire EVS (Environmental Services) operation at the assigned location. This role manages all EVS positions, including Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, Administrative Coordinators, EVS 1, and EVS 2 employees. The Site Manager ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, guest service, safety, and compliance with all policies and procedures. This position also collaborates with company leadership, prepares reports, and drives continuous improvement across the department. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and management of the EVS department, ensuring all shifts and operations run smoothly and efficiently. Supervise and support Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, Administrative Coordinators, EVS 1, and EVS 2 employees. Develop and maintain staffing schedules, ensuring proper coverage at all times. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts in collaboration with the Administrative Coordinator and Assistant Managers. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction standards are consistently met. Oversee inventory control, supply usage, and budget compliance. Ensure all employees follow health, safety, sanitation, and compliance regulations. Review, approve, and manage operational reports, logs, and forms. Handle employee relations, including coaching, mentoring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Work directly with casino or property leadership to ensure service expectations are met. Plan, assign, and oversee special projects, deep cleans, and high-priority tasks. Act as the primary liaison between company leadership and on-site employees. Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement solutions. Ensure professional communication, confidentiality, and accountability throughout the department. Must achieve monthly hours goal for location. Must achieve personal minimum hours goal each week/month. Qualifications Previous management experience in housekeeping, EVS, or facilities operations required. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage a large and diverse workforce. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment, and safety standards. Proficiency in scheduling, reporting, and administrative systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with employees, leadership, and guests. Ability to manage budgets, supplies, and operational resources efficiently. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability required. Physical Demands & Work Environment Requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Requires standing or walking for extended periods of time. Must be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise, and bright lights. Follow all health and safety regulations. Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work effectively with employees, management, and customers.
