Job Description

C onvenience Store Operations Manager We are hiring an experienced, hands-on manager to oversee daily operations for a Lebanon gas station and convenience store location. This is not an entry-level role. The manager is expected to maintain staffing coverage, reliable store execution, accurate inventory and reconciliation, and strong accountability across the team. Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations for the Lebanon location.
  • Build weekly schedules, address call-outs, and personally cover shifts when necessary.
  • Hire, train, coach, and supervise store employees; enforce service, attendance, cash-handling, safety, and operating standards.
  • Place merchandise orders, manage vendor relationships, verify deliveries and invoices, maintain in-stock levels, and reduce waste and shrink.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile sales, cash, lottery, fuel, and merchandise records; investigate discrepancies and correct recurring issues.
  • Operate and troubleshoot the Gilbarco Passport POS and back-office system, including reports, pricing, item maintenance, shift closeout, and transaction review.
  • Review daily and weekly sales, labor, inventory, and exception reports; communicate clear action items to ownership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready store and ensure compliance with applicable age-restricted sales, food-safety, fuel, and workplace requirements.
  • Respond to customer issues, vendor problems, equipment interruptions, and urgent staffing needs. Required Experience
  • Previous gas station, convenience store, or high-volume retail management experience is required.
  • Hands-on experience using Gilbarco Passport is required.
  • Proven experience with employee scheduling, shift coverage, ordering, inventory control, and reconciliation.
  • Strong cash-control, loss-prevention, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage when needed. Compensation
  • Full-time salaried role, up to $60,000 per year.
  • Final compensation depends on relevant experience and scope of responsibility and will be discussed during interviews.
  • Additional performance bonus opportunities will be discussed during interviews.
