In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, controlling inventory, and maintaining a vibrant shopping environment that encourages teamwork and excellence. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve operational goals while fostering a positive and engaging store culture. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure a high-performing workforce aligned with company standards. Implement employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge. Monitor sales performance, conduct performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth. Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and operational records to ensure smooth store functioning. Experience Proven management experience in the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and retail math. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, and merchandising techniques. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Previous experience in grocery or retail store environments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining organizational clarity.
