Currently we are seeking a Hardware Lead to join our team. The Hardware lead plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and components through the assembly process. This position is responsible for scheduling hardware orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating procurement, and maintaining accurate records to support production timelines and minimizing downtime.Current Shift Availability:
Day shift- 7am-3:30pmESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling & Coordination:
Create and manage hardware production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels. Coordinate with purchasing, production, and shipping departments to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials. Track incoming and outgoing hardware to maintain alignment with production schedules.Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage hardware inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and avoid shortages or overstock situations. Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems.Procurement Support:
Assist in ordering materials and components from approved vendors based on lead times and usage rates. Track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and vendor performance. Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve supply chain issues.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for inventory transactions, production scheduling changes, hardware specifications, personal protective equipment (PPE), and the shelf life of all solvents, adhesives, and chemical materials.Continuous Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in scheduling and inventory processes and recommend improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and lean manufacturing practices.Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in inventory management, production scheduling, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Experience with aerospace hardware/working in an aerospace or aviation manufacturing environmentREQUIRED.
Proficiency with inventory software and ERP systems (ProShop) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.WHAT WE OFFER
