Flexible onboarding prior to store launch Ready to help build something brick by brick? We're opening a Bricks & Minifigs store in Butler, PA—a specialty toy retailer focused on buying, selling, and trading LEGO® products. We're looking for a trustworthy, hands-on Store Manager to help us launch and run day-to-day operations. This isn't a corporate retail gig—it's a community-focused business where your leadership really matters. You'll work closely with ownership to get the store ready for opening and will take the reins on tactical, customer-facing operations once we're up and running. What You'll Do Oversee daily store operations, inventory, merchandising, and staff scheduling Manage and coach a small team (assistant managers + part-timers) Handle buying LEGO® from customers, evaluating and pricing trade-ins Ensure a clean, well-organized, and fun store environment Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through great service Coordinate with ownership on promotions, events, and weekly performance goals Help with pre-opening setup, including layout, hiring, and inventory organization What We're Looking For 3+ years in retail management or shift leadership, preferably in toy, hobby, game, or kid-oriented retail Ability to manage people, multitask, and take initiative without micromanagement Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, basic cash handling, and store ops Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic understanding of LEGO® is a plus (but not required—you'll learn fast!) Must be reliable, organized, and able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends) Compensation & Perks $18-$25/hr base pay, depending on experience Weekly sales-based bonus program (earn more when the store does well) PTO and flexible schedule Employee Discount Opportunity to help shape the culture of a fun, friendly, locally owned store Hiring Timeline We're not open yet—but we're hiring now to involve the right person in pre-launch setup, training, and team building.
