DESCRIPTION The Technical Director/Scene Shop Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe operations of the Scene Shop including the maintenance of all equipment, tools and facilities, the execution of all production scenic designs and the management of all load-in and strike activities. The Technical Director/Scene Shop Manager may be assigned to teach one course per year. Additional technical responsibility may be necessary for annual dance concerts and film festival, and other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree required; graduate-level degree preferred. Skills as welder, rigger, carpenter, engineer and draftsperson required. Strong interpersonal skills required. DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales.
