In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of store management, drive sales growth, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a motivated team environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping operational excellence, managing budgets, and implementing effective merchandising strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader to make a significant impact within a fast-paced retail setting. Duties Lead daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies Manage and motivate retail sales team through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to enhance store profitability Handle employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, scheduling shifts, and supervising staff performance Ensure excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly and maintaining high standards of communication and phone etiquette Monitor sales metrics and manage budgets to meet or exceed financial targets Conduct regular inventory control checks and oversee purchasing decisions for stock replenishment Complete various customer visits and outside sales meetings as necessary. Qualifications Experience in commercial construction or industrial tool sales is highly desired. Proven management experience in retail industry sales team management or store management roles with supervisory responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, and cash handling Demonstrated leadership in retail sales environments with experience in shift management and team supervision Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage managerial communication channels Proficiency in retail math including pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, and operational metrics Knowledge of retail product lines and merchandising principles with experience in inventory control and stocking procedures Basic math skills combined with organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently Experience with assistant manager roles or equivalent leadership positions is preferred Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management and customer service excellence
