Job Description
McCarthy Masonry and Concrete Inc is accepting applications for Shop Manager/Mechanic at the Quakertown location: The Shop Manager/Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance of our facilities and equipment, as well as coordinating the installation of new machinery and equipment. Specialize in the maintenance, repairs and overall management of the company's shop, yard, light/heavy duty equipment, company vehicles, small engine shop equipment, deisel engines, and personnel. Must be highly motivated, organized, and able to take/give directions and/or work independently. Be mechanically inclined to work on construction equipment, tools, and fleet vehicles. May work off-site at job locations at times. Should have excellent verbal/written communication skills, computer literate, able to communicate with vendors, and responsible for handling related purchases and computer transactions.
