What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Project Coordination & Planning Own and continuously improve Scout's new store opening playbook, readiness standards, and launch governance processes while leading operational execution of new Workshop and Connection Center launches. Develop and manage detailed project timelines, milestones, and schedules in partnership with construction, facilities, IT, HR, legal, service, and sales teams. Ensure all physical and operational components—equipment, inventory, systems, signage, and safety infrastructure—are in place on time. Serve as the subject matter expert for retail launch operations, store readiness, operational deployment, and launch best practices. Team Onboarding & Training Collaborate with Recruiting and Learning & Development to support onboarding and ramp-up of retail and service teams. Coordinate training schedules across multiple functions, including vehicle operations, customer delivery, service workflows, and safety procedures. Facilitate hands-on training sessions, mock scenarios, and operational walkthroughs to ensure team readiness. Partner with service leadership to confirm SOPs and technical training resources are in place before launch. Cross-Functional Alignment Independently evaluate launch risks, establish mitigation plans, and drive issue resolution across stakeholders to ensure launch readiness. Work with digital and IT teams to manage go-live support for systems across sales, delivery, and service. Operational Readiness Support the day-to-day retail operations of our office location. These may include but are not limited to opening/closing procedures, customer interactions, reservation support, ordering supplies, office management, and document management. Oversee site readiness activities including facility setup, equipment installation, vehicle logistics, merchandising, shop tooling, and IT infrastructure for front-of-house and back-of-house functions and final operational launch sign-off for assigned locations. Support launch events, customer-facing activations, and grand opening activities, including coordination and onsite execution. Provide coverage during evenings and weekends as needed to ensure successful event delivery and customer experience. Ensure service bays, parts storage, and technician work areas meet launch requirements in collaboration with service operations and facilities teams. Lead soft launch activities such as role plays, test drives, mock repairs, and delivery simulations to validate operational preparedness. Post-Launch Success Conduct post-opening assessments, identify root causes and trends, and implement improvements that enhance future store launch performance. Provide on-site stabilization support for 30-60 days post-launch to reinforce training, SOPs, and team execution.
