Corner Pantry in Philip, SD is hiring for a FT Assistant Managers. We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to help lead the daily operations of our convenience store. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with retail leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations. Supervise, train, and support team members. Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally. Oversee cash handling, register reconciliation, and daily deposits. Monitor inventory, receive deliveries, stock merchandise, and maintain product displays. Help create employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and age-restricted sales regulations. Support sales goals, merchandising initiatives, and loss prevention efforts. Step into the Store Manager's role when needed. Qualifications Previous retail or convenience store experience preferred. Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods. Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge.
